Welcome to 7 Senses Travel. Today, on the Fourth of July 2026, we’re officially launching — and we couldn’t have picked a better day to celebrate a beginning.
This publication was born from a simple belief: the best travel engages every part of who you are. Not just what you see, but what you taste, touch, smell, and hear. Not just the itinerary, but the instinct that pulled you there — and the reverence a place can awaken. Five physical senses, two of the spirit. Seven lenses. One way of traveling.
And we’re not just writing about it — we’re living it. As this site goes live, our bags are packed for an extraordinary year of travel. Here’s what’s ahead.
Europe 2026: Eight Countries, Three Months, Forty-Four Schengen Days
From July 14 to October 20, we’re crossing Europe in eight phases. The route bends around Schengen limits — we spend 44 of our 90 allowed days inside the zone, with deliberate detours through non-Schengen Albania and Georgia to stretch the journey without breaking the rules.
- Baltic States (Jul 14–25): Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga — 12 days by ferry, foot, and bus across the northern edge of Europe
- Bratislava (Jul 25–29): Four days in Slovakia’s underrated capital, arriving by river cruiser on the Danube
- Vienna (Jul 29–Aug 5): A full week in the city of music, museums, and Michelin stars
- Shkodër, Albania (Aug 5–11): The gateway to the Albanian Alps — mountains, lake, and a castle-topped city
- Tirana, Albania (Aug 11–31): Three weeks in the chaotic, colorful capital, with day trips to UNESCO towns and cooking classes
- Tbilisi, Georgia (Sep 1–30): An entire month in the Caucasus — sulfur baths, wine harvest, and mountain monasteries
- Milan (Sep 30–Oct 7): Design, art, and the best risotto in Lombardy
- Amsterdam (Oct 7–20): Canals, museums, and the final European stop before the Atlantic crossing
The journey ends at Madrid-Barajas on October 20, boarding a flight to Miami. But the travel doesn’t stop there.
Caribbean Cruise: Celebrity Beyond
Five days after touching down in Miami, we board the Celebrity Beyond — Celebrity Cruises’ newest Edge-class ship — for a week in the Caribbean (October 25 – November 1). Ports include Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, and St. Maarten — the island split between two nations. Concierge Class, specialty dining, and the open sea.

Why Seven Senses?
Every article on this site is tagged with at least one of the seven senses — Palate (taste), Unwind (touch), Aroma (smell), Vista (sight), Cadence (sound), Sanctuary (spirituality), and Wander (instinct). It’s our editorial compass and our promise: no trip of ours — or yours — will be one-dimensional.
We’re just getting started. Destination guides, sensory travel essays, affiliate program insights, and an AI-powered itinerary planner (under development) are all coming. If you love travel that engages every part of you, you’re in the right place.
Welcome aboard. All seven senses are invited. 🎂
